Since 2016 I began intensive training with a type parts work by Eugene Gendlin called Focusing. This involves a guided process of communicating with aspects of a person’s personality (such as the parts that likes to learn, or the part that wants to act impulsively) as well as self defense parts (such as the parts that procrastinate, that gets defensively angry.)
